Visions of Community is the Federation for Children with Special Needs' annual statewide conference for families of children with special needs and the professionals who serve them. This conference is the only one of its kind in Massachusetts, providing a day of crucial education and networking for more than 700 families and professionals from across the state. Visions of Community will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the World Trade Center in Boston from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We rely on sponsorships to ensure that families who are most in need are able to gather, learn, network and obtain critical resources about their child's special needs.
Your sponsorship support will allow us to:
- Keep the admission cost affordable for all families;
- Provide scholarships to those families who need further assistance;
- Present conference workshops in five primary languages, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Cantonese, and Somali;
- Offer transportation to the conference for families from the most disadvantaged areas of the state (including Springfield, Lawrence, Taunton, Hyannis and Worcester);
- Provide childcare for families who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference.
