At times a parent may find that they disagree with the school district's evaluation. The foundation of a good educational program is an evaluation that truly reflects the strengths and needs of the individual student. If the parent disagrees with the school district's evaluation results they have the right to have their child evaluated by a qualified professional(s) not employed by the school system. Both federal and state law allows parents to seek an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE).
