Support for New SESPs

The RTSC offers extensive supports for new volunteers interested in becoming an SESP. All supports are designed to assist you in getting started to successfully represent your first student.

If you have any questions or need assistance with completing the SESP application contact the RTSC by emailing rtsc@fcsn.org or calling (617) 236-7210.

Outreach and Recruitment Specialists are available to assist you with registering for a SESP Orientation Training and completing the application process. To speak with an Outreach and Recruitment Specialist, call (617) 236-7210 or (413) 522-5968 in western Mass.

You will complete a training-needs survey during the Orientation Training which will help you identify any additional training you might need. The Outreach and Recruitment Specialists will work with you to create a customized training plan.

Volunteers taking their first appointment may be matched, if requested, with a Mentor (veteran volunteer) to help them work toward positive educational outcomes for their students.
