This year, Visions of Community hosts the second annual Becoming a Leader Youth Forum, a chance for young adults with special needs (age 14-26) to come together for an intensive, fun day of workshops, panels, and activities. The focus will be on fostering a community of empowered, confident self-advocates.
The Youth Forum will feature:
– A full day of workshop sessions, including topics such as: Creating a Vision, Assistive Technology, Post-Secondary Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Seeking and Keeping Employment, Community Service, and more!
– The chance to meet with individuals and organizations who provide post-secondary programming and services for young adults with special needs!
-Connecting and networking with other self-advocates, including Keynote Speaker Brennan Srisirikul!
