Raising a grandchild or stepping in as a kinship caregiver is an act of deep love\u2014and it often comes with questions, challenges, and the need for strong support. You don\u2019t have to navigate this journey alone.<\/p>\n

The Federation for Children with Special Needs is here to help you access the information, guidance, and community resources you need. Whether you\u2019re seeking help understanding special education, connecting with services, or finding emotional and practical support, we are here to walk alongside you.<\/p>\n

The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Commission<\/a> supports families that are headed by grandparents. The Federation works with the commission, providing information related to special education. The commission also oversees locally-based programs designed to support these wonderful families.<\/p>\n
