MassPAC Home SEPAC Forms and Templates

A SEPAC can build shared commitment from its members by working to establish a Vision and/or a Mission Statement.

These statements help answer questions such as, “Who are we” and What do we do”?

  • A Vision Statement describes the focus of the group in aspirational terms.
  • A Mission Statement describes present activities in concrete terms.

EXAMPLE: Feeding America

  • Vision: A Hunger Free America (aspirational and future-oriented)
  • Mission: To feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger (concrete and present-oriented)
