Description: Join Ross Hooley, Director of Building Futures Project for The Nemasket Group and Coordinator of the MA Inclusive Concurrent Enrollment Initiative (MAICEI) at Bristol Community College (BCC), and  Mikayla Metcalf, FCSN NextGen Coordinator, to learn more about MAICEI’s opportunities. The MA Inclusive Concurrent Enrollment Initiative (MAICEI) at Bristol Community College (BCC) provides students with intellectual disabilities between the ages of 18-22 an inclusive dual enrollment opportunity and will be expanding opportunities for individuals 22 years and older in 2023. The program partners with local school districts to identify eligible students. Students enroll (credit or non-credit bearing) in a course that is aligned with their long-term employment/life goals. The students also have the option to participate in activities on campus to increase their self-determination skills, self-advocacy skills, social skills, health/wellness, academic skills, and employment skills and enhance their overall quality of life.
