Go Green with FCSN! Shine a light on Massachusetts families!
The Federation is proud to have been selected for the Prudential Center’s 10th Annual 31 Nights of Light event! On 12/22/18 at 4:00pm we’ll host a family-friendly “Flip the Switch” reception in Boston with food, entertainment, and more! If a trip to the city is not in the cards, there’s another great way to join the fun: we invite friends across the state to light the night on social media! Spark up green holiday lights, wear your favorite green pants, or put a green bulb in your porch lamp – then share the photos on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with the hashtag #31NightsFCSN! Sites across the state will join in our celebration, including the Zakim Bridge and Charlestown’s Schrafft Center.
The green heart in our logo represents the Special Education Parent Center, which includes the Parent Training and Information Center, the LINK Center, the work of our fantastic community outreach staff, the Parent Consultant Training Institute, and “SEPO”: an in-depth exploration of special education placement options. The Special Education Parent Center was the very beginning of FCSN, so it is fitting that green is also the color we’ll shine from the top of the tower.
Let’s light up the state from the tip of the Cape
to the Berkshire Mountains!
We’ve just received confirmation that BLADES, the official mascot of the Boston Bruins will be making an appearance during our event at the Prudential Center! Don’t miss this opportunity to meet your favorite Boston bear “in the fur” – RSVP today!
