2/5/17: Vietnamese New Year
We had a wonderful time at the Vietnamese New Year (Tet) celebration at the Dorchester House on 2/4/17! The massive event was organized by our own outreach powerhouse Oanh Bui, who helps families of children with special needs in the Vietnamese community. There was singing, dancing, and plenty of inclusive activities – even Mayor Walsh stopped by to greet the crowd and hand out red envelopes of “li xi” (lucky money, in Vietnam).
If you are a Vietnamese speaker, you may enjoy this video coverage, presented by SBTN. Local photographer Phi Pham of Avari Studios was also on-hand to document all the day’s events.
