Positive Solutions for Families – Train the Trainer

The Center on Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) at Vanderbilt University has developed Positive Solutions for Families, an evidence-based, six-session parent training series to help those working with families to promote the positive and effective parenting skills that support healthy social and emotional development while addressing challenging behavior and mental health needs of children in preschool classrooms.

Through a grant provided by the Department for Elementary and Secondary Education, the Federation for Children with Special Needs provides a ten-hour Positive Solutions for Families – Train the Trainer workshop as well as a graduate-level course which can be taken for credit through Fitchburg University.
