Positive Solutions for Families is an evidence-based, six-session parent training series developed by The Center on Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) at Vanderbilt University. The series offers parenting skills and strategies to support healthy social and emotional development in preschool children, while addressing behavioral issues and mental health concerns. Positive Solutions for Families – Train the Trainer provides tools to help professionals working with families implement Positive Solutions for Families in their districts.
Through a grant provided by the Department for Elementary and Secondary Education, the Federation for Children with Special Needs provides a ten-hour Positive Solutions for Families – Train the Trainer workshop as well as a graduate-level course which can be taken for credit through Fitchburg University.
