There are several things to be aware of as a youth approaches the time of graduation. Graduation may occur when a youth is 18, but some youth are eligible to stay in school and receive services until they turn 22. Graduation often depends on whether a youth is able to pass the MCAS exam. Other important considerations during this time will be understanding what turning 18 really means in terms of decision making and becoming an adult.

What to expect around the time of graduation?
