Keynote Address: Your Story Matters — How to Tell It and Be Heard!
Elaine Gabovitch: Director, Division for Children and Youth with Special Health Needs, Massachusetts Department of Public Health
As the parent of a young adult son with ASD, Elaine has used her family’s story to create positive change. In her role as Director of the Title V Division for Children & Youth with Special Health Needs at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, she now listens to stories from the community. Throughout her career, she has learned that the lived experience of families has the greatest value of all. She hopes you will use your stories following today’s conference to teach others, and, by doing so, change the world for the better for our kids and families.
