Remote learning services, materials for LEP families

Families and professionals are encouraged to respond to a survey regarding services concerning remote learning services and materials for Limited English Proficiency (LEP) families during the COVID-19 shutdown. Professionals may wish to respond on behalf of families or pass along the link to families.

The survey – which takes less than 5 minutes – is available in English and Spanish.

Also, The Department of Early and Secondary Education is piloting interpretation and translation services in five school districts. Flyers in English and Spanish can provide parents with the contact person in each pilot district: Chelsea, Holyoke, Lawrence, Lowell, and Southbridge.

The Federation is working in partnership with the Massachusetts Advocates for Children to promote this information.
