Empowered Families: A Three-Part Series on Special Education
The series consists of three workshops and one optional IEP Clinic focused on providing training to parents, caregivers and professionals to understand and advocate for appropriate special education services for students. We welcome participants to stay for lunch, meet other families, and network. Special education professionals will be available to discuss specific concerns or answer questions. It is our goal for these workshop experiences to be truly enriching and empowering.
Are you able to lend your services as a volunteer? We are seeking help for all three workshops, plus parent advocates and translators for the IEP Clinic on 5/7. Click here to visit our volunteer registration form!
