SUMMARY:Home Care Adult Foster Care Presentation
DESCRIPTION:Home Care AFC/FCSN\nJoin us for a presentation by Home Care Adult Foster Care on May 11th 2026 at 6:30pm \nCaring for a loved one with disabilities or complex needs can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly challenging. This session introduces the Adult Family Care (AFC) program—a MassHealth benefit designed to support families who are already providing care at home. Participants will learn how AFC offers a tax-free stipend for caregivers (up to $18\,000 a year)\, along with ongoing support from a nurse and case manager to help navigate care\, access resources\, and prevent burnout. This presentation will focus on practical\, real-life support—helping families feel less alone\, more empowered\, and better equipped to care for their loved ones while maintaining their own well-being. \n \nJessy Niebla is the Executive Director of Home Care AFC and a trilingual professional (English\, Spanish\, and Portuguese) with over a decade of experience supporting families navigating health and caregiving challenges. Her work is deeply personal. Jessy and her brother were caregivers for their grandmother for over 13 years\, an experience that shaped their understanding of the emotional\, physical\, and financial realities families face every day. That journey inspired them to create Home Care AFC—to ensure other families feel supported\, guided\, and not alone. Jessy is passionate about helping families find real solutions that improve their quality of life—offering not just professional support\, but genuine understanding\, compassion\, and connection.  \nRegister Below\n\n\n\n	Related
