- Who is VOC for?
- Parents, Caregivers, Kinship, Youth, Young Adults (14-26), Professionals and Providers who care for children with special needs.
- What can I get out of it?
- Training, networking, information, engaging content, resources, connections, access to Pre-events, and the recording of the conference.
- What are the costs?

- How does that work?
- Go to https://fcsn.org/voc/ and click on Exhibitor on the menu button for an up-to-date list of our Exhibitors.
- How do I speak with an exhibitor:
- Meet with our Exhibitors during a special pre-event on Thursday, March 4th from 5:30-7:30 pm to learn more about what they have to offer.
- During the conference, you will be able to meet with them by clicking on the Exhibitor channel either in your browser or on your phone.
- If on your phone you can…
- Send them an inquiry.
- Click on the booth staff and Exchange contact info
- Say Hi
- Bookmark for later
- Send them a message or
- Click on “Let’s meet” and schedule a time to meet with the Exhibitor
- Sponsor shout-out
- If I register online, will you be using my information in any other way?
- No.
- Who do I contact for immediate assistance?

- Once registered go to Community and then “Ask the Organizer”

- Where can I find more information about the youth forum?
- Go to the Youth Forum

- Where can I find information on the Sessions?
- Go to Whova platform
- Show breakdown of tracks: topic, experience level (beginner, intermediate, etc…), and language.
- Which languages are you providing translations this year and how does that work?
- Some of the workshops will be offered in the six languages. To see the schedule which workshops are available in a different language to the Event
- Can I attend the Pre-events if I do not attend the conference?
- No. The Pre-events are exclusive to VOC attendees.
- When are the Pre-Events?
- Every day from March 2nd – March 5th there will be Networking opportunities and training for those who have registered for this year’s conference.
- How can I become an Exhibitor?

- Will the sessions be recorded so that registered attendees can view all of the sessions at another time?
- This is our current plan but some presenters may request to not be recorded.
- The full list of recorded workshops will most likely not be finalized until our conference.
- Is the sibling session meant for parents or siblings and is there a recommended age?
- The Sibling session is meant for parents.
- Feel free to submit your questions to the Presenter in Whova prior to the conference.
- The presenter did not specifically say parents only. Here are the three objectives we were given:
- Promoting the rights of our brothers and sisters, and of all individuals with disabilities
- Identifying the positive impact that siblings have on their brothers and sisters who have disabilities
- Importance of supporting siblings with individuals with disabilities
- Where do I add the discount code?
- On the registration page, just under the last ticket option, click on “Add discount code”. A field will appear that will allow you to enter the code. This should change the attendee price to “0”.
- Once you register and create a Whova account to access the conference platform, you can directly message the presenter to see if this would be appropriate for your child(ren) to watch with you.

- If I accidentally register using someone else’s name, what should I do?
- You can change your name under Edit Profile in the mobile app. Tap on your image and edit.
- How to join the event from a tablet or phone?
- To join the event from a mobile device or tablet, you will need to download the Whova mobile app.
- Are there workshop handouts?
- You may access the handouts by going to the Documents tab on your mobile or browser, then scroll down until you find it.
- Are sessions being recorded?
- Yes, All sessions will be recorded.
- How do I join a session?
- Go to the Agenda then click on the session you registered for.
- If you are on a computer, expand the window for full view
- How can I resolve connectivity issues?
- Please use the latest version of one of the recommended browsers for the best attendee experience: (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc…

- Can the Google Translation Extension Plug-in work in Whova?
- We will add the link to the youtube video that will show you step-by-step how to download the extension plug-in.

- Download this year’s conference flyers and share them with your friends.
- What are the conference’s hashtags?
- Use hashtags #voc21 and #fcsnma when promoting on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
