She was the Program Coordinator for the Transition to College Program, which enabled US immigrants and refugees to gain the English and academic skills necessary to be successful in U.S. college and in the workplace. She is the mother of two children who inspire the work she does at the FCSN. She has learned to navigate health care, school and government systems.
