Susan Ou is the Outreach Manager from Federation for Children with Special Needs. She uses the \u201cCultural Broker\u201d models to provide information, resources and supports to underserved families which include culturally linguistically diverse families, also offer strategies and best practices for public schools and community-based organizations how to best serve the families. She is the co-writer of the book \u201cAffirming Disability Strengths-Based Portraits of Culturally Diverse Families\u201d. In the book, she shared her experience as a culturally diverse parent how to navigate the complex special education system for her child with disability. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
