(PLAN of MA &amp; RI)<\/strong>, aimed at expanding education, support, and long-term planning resources for families of children and young adults with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the partnership, PLAN of MA &amp; RI has committed <strong>$50,000 <\/strong>to support the Federation\u2019s mission of empowering families, engaging diverse communities, and eliminating barriers to improve life outcomes for all children and young adults with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor over 50 years, the Federation has been a trusted partner for families navigating the complexities of education, healthcare, and disability services,\u201d said <strong>Pam Nourse, Executive Director of FCSN<\/strong>. \u201cThis partnership with PLAN strengthens our ability to provide families with the tools they need to secure a stable and inclusive future for their children. Together, we can ensure families are not only supported today, but prepared for tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Through the partnership, families affiliated with FCSN will have access to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Educational workshops and webinars <\/strong>about Special Needs Trusts and financial<\/li>\n<li><strong>Direct connections to licensed social workers <\/strong>from PLAN who can provide guidance and referrals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Expanded outreach opportunities<\/strong>, ensuring families across Massachusetts learn about the critical importance of financial security and long-term planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to collaborate with the Federation for Children with Special Needs,\u201d said <strong>Joan McGrath, CEO of PLAN of MA &amp; RI<\/strong>. As an organization founded by parents of children with disabilities more than 50 years ago, PLAN of MA &amp; RI has a similar history and a shared mission as The Federation for Children with Special Needs. We are pleased to partner with FCSN to improve the lives of children and young adults of all abilities. By working together, we will reach more families and ensure they have access to information, resources, and compassionate support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This partnership builds on the Federation\u2019s legacy of innovation and family-centered programs, including the Massachusetts Statewide Family Engagement Center, the Caregiver-to-Caregiver Respite Network, and the annual Visions of Community Conference.
