Prior to joining the Federation and Family TIES as the Family Engagement Specialist, she ran her own small non-profit organization helping special needs families enjoy vacations they may not have otherwise been able to. Wendi was excited when an opportunity to join the Federation presented itself, allowing her advocacy to have a much larger impact. As the mother of three diversely-abled children, she takes pride in contributing to the overall well-being of special needs families.
