Alisha is the Family Engagement Specialist on the DPH CCATER Center team, supporting alignment of provider-facing initiatives with family engagement frameworks across care coordination work. She provides enhanced care coordination training and technical assistance to provider teams, strengthening partnerships with families of children with medical complexity. Alisha is passionate about supporting healthcare teams in better understanding family priorities and advancing care that reflects what families need day to day. She also serves on family advisory councils and is a LEND Fellow, continuing to deepen her work at the intersection of family voice, systems, and practice. A homeschooling mother of four, including children with disabilities, mental illness, and special health care needs, Alisha brings caregiving experience alongside systems expertise to her work.
