Shared from Family Voices. A doctoral researcher at Indiana University Indianapolis is conducting a study to understand why families sometimes reduce or stop Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for their child before treatment goals are met, and wants to hear directly from caregivers.
You may be eligible if
- You are the parent or primary caregiver of a child ages 2 to 18
- Your child received ABA services for at least 30 days within the past 2 years
- You are 18 years or older and able to participate in an English-language conversation
What is involved
A brief 5 to 10 minute online screening form, then one 90-minute focus group on Zoom (most sessions), or in person at a partner site in Atlanta if you live nearby and prefer that. Sessions are recorded for research purposes. Participants receive a $50 electronic gift card.
Participation is voluntary. It will not affect any services your child is currently receiving or may receive in the future, from any provider.
