Diana is a mother of three young adults, the oldest of whom had an IEP throughout his academic career. She joined the FCSN after moving to Massachusetts from New York City, where she worked for IncludeNYC, the parent center for families of children with disabilities. In her five years at IncludeNYC, she specialized in transition, working mainly with Spanish-speaking families. Previously in her career in the nonprofit world, Diana worked in England and the United States in immigration and environmental protection. Diana was raised in Spain and speaks Spanish and French fluently and conversational Italian. Diana enjoys and is passionate about working with families of children with disabilities, especially non-English speakers, and aiding them in the transition from high school to adulthood.
