FCSN’s Dad to Dad: Strength, Stress & Supporting Our Kids

Being a dad of kids with disabilities during the transition years can feel like carrying everything at once: supporting your child’s current education, planning for adulthood, managing work and family life, navigating systems, and trying to stay strong through it all. Maybe your partner handles a lot of the education and transition work and you’re not sure where you fit in.

This conversation brings fathers together to speak honestly about the strengths you offer and the stresses you might be feeling at this stage of your child’s life. Hear from dads of pre-teens, teens and young adults with disabilities as they share experiences, challenges, lessons learned, and the ways they continue showing up for their kids and families.

Come for real conversation, shared experience, and connection with other dads who understand the journey. We’ll have an online group of Dads – who all engage and support in different ways- sharing their stories and taking questions.
