Allie Rojas joins the Federation for Children with Special Needs as Communications Manager, bringing a passion for storytelling, community engagement, and creating meaningful connections through communications.
Allie brings experience in communications, community engagement, and outreach across higher education and nonprofit orga nizations. Most recently, she worked at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she led communications efforts for cultural centers, student organizations, and campus-wide programs focused on fostering connection and belonging. Before joining FCSN, Allie developed multilingual outreach campaigns, secured grant funding for community initiatives, co-founded a local radio program focused on immigrant resources, and partnered with nonprofits, municipalities, and educational institutions to increase access to information and services.
A proud UMass Boston alumna, Allie holds both a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration. As a first-generation college graduate and immigrant, she is passionate about using communications as a tool to empower communities, amplify voices, and connect people with the resources they need.
Outside of work, Allie enjoys distance running, exploring New England, and spending time with her partner and their dog, Bear.
