Planning a Life Conference: College and Beyond
FCSN’s postsecondary transition conference, Planning A Life: College and Beyond, is coming soon! Join us:
Friday, May 2, 2025
8am to 4pm – virtually

Saturday, May 3, 2025
10am to 2pm – in person

For families of students on IEPs between the ages of 14 and 22 (and the students themselves!) who are curious about college or would like to know more about the difference between high school and college, this conference is for you!
These two-day conferences will contain a wide variety of information around transition planning with a focus on postsecondary education and independent living. Friday is virtual and Saturday is a half-day, in-person event for you and your young person (with lunch included – Let us know if you have food allergies.)
On Saturday, we are offering a student track of presentations including Disability Disclosure, a discussion panel with self-advocates, and a chance to socialize and have fun!
PAL: College and Beyond presentation topics include the following:
- From High School to College = Big Difference
- Going to College
- Healthcare Transition
- College Navigator …. And more!
Cost
- Parents/Caregivers: $100 each, or $150 for two
- Professionals: $150 each
- Youth: Free with a registered parent, caregiver, or professional
