Jess Wilson is best known as the mom behind Diary of a Mom. Once a personal blog, Diary is now a diverse and vibrant community of over 400,000 people who share Jess’s passion for intersectional advocacy and her belief that every human being has a fundamental right to dignity and respect.
After twenty years as an Institutional Equity Sales Trader, Jess transitioned into life as a stay-at-home parent to care for her youngest daughter, who has multiple disabilities. She served as a board member on her local SEPAC and as a member of the steering committee of her city’s Organization of Autism Parents.
Her advocacy has taken her from featured presentations at MIT and Harvard to roundtable discussions with Cabinet Secretaries at the White House, but no matter where she is, Jess will tell you in no uncertain terms that her greatest joy and highest honor is being the mom of two incredible young women.
