Planning A Life Conferences 2024
Planning A Life (PAL) is a 2-day transition conference for transition-age youth (14-22), their families, & professionals who support them.
PAL can provide parents and professionals with useful skills and information necessary to support youth as they prepare for full, meaningful lives during and after high school. Among other topics, we will discuss how to begin the transition planning process and how to determine transition goals on the IEP. We will discuss ways parents, caregivers, and professionals can encourage independence and self-advocacy in their students.
Cost:
- Parents/Caregivers: $95 each, or $125 for two (Savings of $65)
- Professionals: $125 each
- Youth: Free with a registered parent, caregiver, or professional

Planning A Life: College and Beyond
During this PAL, we will talk about the differences between high school and college and how to prepare for success in college. We will discuss making the choice to disclose a disability and how to navigate healthcare transition. Youth are encouraged to attend separate activities on preparing for college and brainstorming their vision of a fun, meaningful adult life!
Day 1 – Virtual

Saturday, May 18th 10 am to 2 pm
Lunch is provided.
