Panel “Aging out”: Turning 18 While Experiencing State Custody.

Inspired by the 3/29/2024 Boston Globe article, “Cut lose at 18 and still Struggling into Adulthood,” featuring +18 youth Kevin “Prince” Works and written by Shira Schoenberg, RTSC will host a Panel of representatives who will speak to the programs and policies that support youth between the ages of 14-17, having experienced the child welfare system, on how to access and benefit from these programs and to overcome the many hurdles and barriers along the way.
