Heidi Harris

Heidi is a k12 educator/ practitioner. She has a background as a researcher largely focusing on identifying the programs, practices, and policies that make high schools in large urban districts particularly effective for low-income students and students of color. Other areas of interest include conducting policy analyses related to student engagement, school and district improvement, as well as equity & belonging. Heidi’s personal passion centers on the intersection of race, culture and disability for k12 students. BA for Bard College and Masters in Ed Policy & Administration.
