Sara Cohen

Sara Cohen is the Project Associate for Family TIES. In this role, she coordinates marketing resources, trainings and advertising and supports the Family TIES staff with various projects. Prior to working for the Federation, Sara worked in marketing and sales for cable television and radio stations for 13+ years. Since becoming a mother in 2004, she has been a Family Support Specialist for DDS contracted agencies, an elementary school reading tutor, a corporate event planner, a SEPAC Leader, and a Charting the LifeCourse Ambassador. She has attended FCSN’s Parent Consultant Training Institute and Mass Families Advanced Family Leadership Series, in addition to being an avid special needs workshop attendee since her youngest was in Early Intervention. Sara has a degree in Psychology and Business from Ithaca College, has been an active member of her children’s PACs and Booster Clubs. She enjoys gardening and being a member of her town’s Garden Club. Sara has greatly appreciated and personally benefited from the work of the Federation, and is thrilled to help continue its mission.
