Wendi Hoffer

Hoffer has been a passionate advocate for families of special needs children since becoming a mother to a child with a disability almost 10 years ago. Prior to joining the Federation and Family TIES as the Parent-to-Parent Coordinator, she ran her own small non-profit organization helping special needs families enjoy vacations they may not have otherwise been able to. Wendi was excited when an opportunity to join the Federation presented itself, allowing her advocacy to have a much larger impact. As the mother of three diversely-abled children, she takes pride in contributing to the overall well-being of special needs families. In addition to her personal experience as a mother and advocate, Wendi has an MBA from the University of South Florida and years of experience of research and data analysis.
