Description

Join New England PANS/PANDAS Association for a presentation on Understanding PANS/PANDAS. Our Board Members will discuss signs, symptoms and science behind PANS/PANDAS as well the tools for helping families and the community know more.

PANDAS (pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder associated with streptococcus, or ‘strep’) and PANS (pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome) are rarely diagnosed neuropsychiatric conditions that affect children and their whole family unit. An affected child generally has a sudden, dramatic change in personality, displayed as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, tics or other abnormal movements, personality changes, decline in math and handwriting abilities, sensory sensitivities, restrictive eating and more.

Become part of the solution by equipping yourself with the knowledge and resources by attending this talk.

This event will be hosted with access to interpretation and transcription in 20+ languages. Click for instructions on Accessing Interpretation.
