This event will have simultaneous interpretation in the following languages:  Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Haitian Creole, and Vietnamese

This presentation will provide an overview of a newer office a the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, the Office of Individual and Family Engagement. You will hear from the leads of the Office about (1) what this office can do for you and your family (2) exciting new Office  initiatives like a quarterly disability forum and disability newsletter and (3) opportunities to get connected with and learn more about MRC.

Presenters:

Amanda Baczko

Amanda Baczko is the Director for the Office of Individual and Family Engagement. Prior to joining MRC, Amanda spent the past decade working for the Transitions to Adulthood Center at UMass Medical School, where she partnered with a national cohort of individuals with mental health conditions and other disabilities to improve services and supports to better meet the needs of the disability community.

Manel Desvallons

Manel Desvallons is the Family Partnership Coordinator in the Office of Individual and Family Engagement at MRC. He brings over 13 years of experience and knowledge working and partnering with individuals with disabilities and their families
